मा. सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात दाखल जनहित याचिकेच्या अनुषंगाने केंद्र शासनाने निर्गमित केलेल्या सुचनेनुसार कुटुंब नियेाजन शस्त्रक्रियेनंतर उद्भवणाऱ्या असफल, गुंतागुंत झालेल्या व मृत्यू प्रकरणी लाभार्थीस केंद्र शासनाच्या मापदंडानुसार जेवढी नुकसान भरपाई देण्यात येते तितकीच नुकसान भरपाई राज्य शासनाच्या निधीतून देण्याबाबत.

हिंमाननीय. सुप्रीम कोर्ट में दायर एक जनहित याचिका के क्रम में केंद्र सरकार द्वारा जारी निर्देश के मुताबिक, परिवार नियोजन सर्जरी के विफल, जटिल और मृत्यु के मामलों में लाभार्थियों को केंद्र सरकार के मानदंडों के अनुसार राज्य सरकार के फंड से भी मुआवजा दिया जाएगा।
